Sweet Wind House Opt. 2
Houses at Hope Estate, Bequia
|:||Hope Estate, Bequia|
Sweet Wind has two main buildings (a main house and a guest cottage), which are separately located and connected through a series of stone steps. The main house features one bedroom (set just steps away through the garden) with a large open-plan living area while the guest cottage has two bedrooms. Guests have the option of renting both parts together or solely renting the guest cottage. An infinity pool with a beautiful unique sparkling brown colour is located between both buildings. The property also has it's own staff accommodations with various employees on site to ensure that the property is well kept at all times. There is even a private cliff top gazebo with an amazing view and atmosphere, perfect to escape from reality.
The renowned architect, Jack Beyer of New York, designed this fantastic villa using a combination of local stone and South American hardwoods, and floors made with Spanish terracotta tiles. His concept was to ensure that there is a natural airflow to all rooms so that they stay cool throughout the day. The sophisticated international design draws a lot of attention to detail, and one can find numerous antiques and art pieces from all places of the world. The bathrooms are amazing with open-air ceilings and natural stone pebbles on all the floors.
Sweet Wind has it's only private access road which runs graciously through the estate and is only 10 minutes drive away from Port Elizabeth, Bequia's main bustling seafaring town. A 20 minutes hike will take you to white sand Hope Bay, Bequia's most secluded, romantic and un-spoilt beach. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a viewing of this property.
