Tinian Villa

Tinian Villa enjoys a world-class view from approximately 500 feet above sea level. To get to the property, one drives up Bequia Estate Road (a private road), after which one arrives at the house through a nicely developed driveway and parking area (that includes a garage). This is the top level of the three levels that make up the house. Stepping down a few steps, one comes to the front door. From there, one passes through two large mahogany doors, where one encounters the view for the first time. On an island known for its breathtaking scenery and its dramatic sunsets, there are no better ways to experience these spectacles of nature than from one of the three spacious balcony areas that extend outward from the front of each level.

One can clearly see Friendship Bay, Isle A Quatre, Petit Nevis, Mustique, and on a very clear day, Union Island. From the main-level balcony, one has access to the primary living areas and the separate but connected building known as “The Tower”. The main floor of this 2-level structure consists of a casual family room with a bedroom and a bath. The top floor is a studio bedroom with its own small balcony. Returning to the main level of the house, one finds the well-equipped kitchen, the dining area, the living area, and the air-conditioned master bedroom and bath. The primary living areas on this level enjoy a folding wall of louvred doors that, when open, provide a completely open-air experience for the living and dining areas.

As one moves down to the next balcony, one finds two air-conditioned guest bedrooms, each with their own bath. This large area provides ample living space and more dramatic views from the two conveniently located guest rooms. A large saltwater pool is located on the lower level, with more deck space and a recreation area with a ping pong table. This level also boasts a full bath, a laundry area, and a large storage room, which, until recently, was a serving kitchen to facilitate gatherings around the pool. From the lower level, one can find a way down into the tropical garden, where one can harvest various types of fruit and fresh flowers for the table. The pool level is equipped with ample seating, lounge chairs, and umbrellas, as well as a sunken shade area with cushioned benches and a built-in day bed for the occasional nap after swimming.
