The Villa

Perched 600 feet above Friendship Bay, Mangwana is located in a serene setting just a 7-minute drive from some of Bequia’s best beaches. The property offers spectacular views over the Southern Grenadines, stretching toward Mustique, Canouan, and Union Island. Nearby attractions include the tranquil waters of Lower Bay Beach and the jewel-like islands of Balliceaux and Petit Nevis.

Interior

Designed by British architect Jake Edgley, Mangwana incorporates durable materials like Brazilian Ipe wood and polished concrete floors for low-maintenance luxury. The property is equipped with 32 solar panels, a 130,000-gallon rainwater collection system, and energy-efficient lighting to minimise environmental impact.

The property includes five spacious bedrooms in the main house and a separate guest wing with its own kitchen, balcony, and terrace. All but one bedroom have en-suite bathrooms with pebble-lined walk-in showers. Pitched ceilings, high fans, and cross breezes keep the spaces refreshingly cool. The three leeward facing bedrooms have a/c.
