Amitabha House is a 6-bedroom luxury villa 200 metres above one of Bequia’s most pristine beaches, Lower Bay. As its name suggests, “the Buddha of infinite light” – Amitabha House, is a great place to escape from the stress of everyday life and find relaxation and calmness within. With its vast intertwined indoor and outdoor living spaces, visitors can enjoy 180-degree panoramic views of the beach and the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Sleeping
Each luxuriously appointed bedroom has a king-sized four-poster bed, dressing room, and en-suite bathroom with shower and air conditioning. The primary bedroom suite also has a bathtub, a flat-screen television with cable, and a DVD player. (An inflatable mattress is available if an extra person joins your group). The house’s layout has been designed with maximum tranquillity and privacy in mind, with the six bedrooms located in secluded areas of the house.
Outdoors
The 15-metre saltwater swimming pool is surrounded by an extensive garden full of beautiful flowers that includes two gazebos, one secluded with a hammock – perfect for an afternoon nap. The other has a gas barbeque for outdoor entertaining. There is also an outdoor bar. In addition, the property is completely fenced for privacy and security, with a large parking area.
Living
Two large open and beautifully furnished living areas overlook the west-facing terrace, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and cinema room with amenities such as a television with cable and DVD player, Wi-Fi, and a stereo system.
Fun & Games
Amitabha has an abundance of outdoor fun for families and groups that includes a large infinity pool, a tennis court with night lighting a basketball net and mountain bikes. The pool table and table football ensure evenings of fun and games for everyone. In addition, there are beach chairs, a complimentary supply of beach towels, snorkels and fins and beach bags.
Fitness Equipment
Amitabah has an indoor gym with a rowing machine, a Gold’s gym machine, a cross trainer and yoga mats.
Staff & Services
At Amitabah House, breakfast and lunch are expertly prepared by in-house cook Tabitha and her team, with the preparation of both meals included in the rental rate. Dinner service is also available for up to 12 guests at an additional cost of USD $180 (or XCD 480). Please note that food provisions are not included; however, grocery shopping can be arranged for a 20% service charge on the total bill.
For added ease and comfort, butler service can also be arranged. This includes initial provisioning prior to arrival, as well as ongoing replenishment of supplies throughout your stay.
Complimentary Transfers
Complimentary transfers to the airport or ferry dock for both arrival and departure are included in the rate. Breakfast and lunch service (guests pay for provisions).
Important to Note
Stays at Amitabah are preferably booked from Saturday to Saturday.
However, we understand that travel plans can vary. If you require different dates, please get in touch and we’ll gladly see if we can arrange an exception depending on availability.
