A booking is confirmed once Real Grenadines receives your signed rental agreement. Upon confirmation, we place a 48-hour hold on the property. Your booking becomes fully secured once payment is received as follows:
If payment is not received by these dates, your booking will be automatically cancelled and the property released.
Payment Methods: We accept international wire transfers. We recommend WISE for fast, low-cost fund transfers—significantly cheaper than traditional bank wires, and funds typically arrive within 24–48 hours.
Both the deposit and final balance are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel your booking, we will reschedule your dates to alternative dates within 18 months of your original cancellation—subject to availability and applicable seasonal pricing.
Cancellation Deadline: Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 45 days prior to the scheduled arrival date to be eligible for rescheduling. Cancellations received within 45 days of arrival are non-refundable and non-transferable; no rescheduling is available.
When rescheduling applies:
We work in partnership with our owners, and our cancellation policy reflects equal commitment to both sides. Without holding deposits, we’d be unable to reserve properties or secure the services that make your stay exceptional. At the same time, we recognise that life happens.
Most refund policies favour one party over the other. We’ve designed our cancellation approach to support both owner and guest equally—the flexibility to reschedule protects your investment whilst honouring our commitment to the people whose properties make this possible.
In exceptional circumstances such as serious illness, bereavement, or significant personal hardship, we encourage you to contact us directly. While we cannot guarantee exceptions to our standard cancellation policy, we will work with you in good faith to explore alternatives where possible.
Should we need to cancel a confirmed booking due to circumstances beyond our control—including but not limited to natural disaster, government travel restrictions, political unrest, property damage, or owner withdrawal—you will have the following options:
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with cancel-for-any-reason (CFAR) coverage at the time of booking. While CFAR policies aren’t widely available through all insurers, they are typically affordable and provide the comprehensive protection that a refund policy alone cannot offer. This is the best way to safeguard your investment against unexpected events.
